Description: Three Exhibits in One. 1) “ Let’s Get Known” Things people do for fame & fortune. The show will consist of 20- 2ft x 2ft panels. Each panel will be created by a different artist. 2) a large double sided mural created by the PARAIL Design Firm and will showcase the firms iconic graphic style in a large scale format. Lastly, the 3rd Exhibit in TRIPLE THREAT- Art of the Lucha Dore Masks, which are all created by more nationally recognized artists.

Robin (RV) VanArsdol has put together a collection of Central Florida artists including RV, Wie, Swamburger, Jeff Riggan, Dolla Bill and Bryan Demchak, all are involved in Urban Art (creating in the public domain) in Orlando. These artist will a part of RV’s next European offering of Florida artists.

RV will also be placing his personal collection of 80’s NYC Street Art on Display in the Orlando Magic Foundation Classroom inside CityArts Factory. This collection will include works from Keith Haring, Paula Pagani, Ken Hiratsuka, Barbara Kruger and featuring Haring’s POP SHOP sign and pieces from the NYC Subway series.

GRATITUDE – Orlando Visual Artists League Reunion exhibit

In this season of reflection and “giving thanks,” we want to recognize those who blazed the trails for the Orlando visual arts.  To those artists who forged ahead to create a climate where our collective and creative futures are brighter, we want to express our “GRATITUDE” with reunion exhibit of the artists that participated and lived the life that was the Orlando Visual Artists League.  The CityArts Factory is pleased to present GRATITUDE; An open submission exhibit for the former members and friends of O.V.A.L. (Orlando Visual Artists’ League) will be held in the Eola Capital Loft at the CityArts Factory. This exhibits intention is to reunite O.V.A.L’s core and to pay homage to those artists who helped make a facility like CityArts Factory a reality.

Mel’s Bad Girls Club – SENSORY OVERLOAD II

City Arts Factory in downtown Orlando will host the 2nd Annual Sensory Overload exhibit produced by Mel’s Bad Girls Club. This show consists of artists who are all members of  Mel Taylor of WJRR’s Bad Girls Club. A community minded civic group of young female professionals pooling their skills for charitable organizations. This exhibit will feature works of art from all disciplines and of all skill levels. A portions of all sales of art to benefit Base Camp Cancer Foundation for Kids. www.basecamp.org

An interactive version of Charles Dickens ‘A Christmas Carol’ as performed by Terry Olson and his performance troupe. Tea and cookies to be served to audience during the performance.

Enter the holiday-decked Eola Capitol Loft at the CityArts Factory to the refrain of Christmas carolers and sit down at your table to a steaming cup of tea and plates of assorted Christmas treats. By candle light well-known actors Terry Olson, Robin Olson and Morgan Russell bring to life nearly three dozen character, changing characters before your very eyes with a change of hat, vest or coat. The streets and scenes of Scrooge’s Victorian England surround the audience and conclude with Scrooge’s touching change of heart.
